This is a powerful little woodworking machine with a 1/3 hp motor and a 5/8" chuck size it can tackle almost any job you throw at it.

This is a variable speed drill with a digital readout showing the speed of the chuck, with spindle speeds ranging from 530 through 3100 RPMs
Adjusting the speed of the chuck is done with one lever, no moving the belts from one pulley to another. This is an extremely convenient feature.Always remember the larger the diameter of the bit the slower the RPMs.
This machine comes with an LED light to illuminate the work surface.It also comes with a laser, which makes accurate drilling of holes a breeze. The laser is adjustable to accommodate different sizes of stock.
The spindle travel is 31/8" . It also has a built-in stop mechanism which can be adjusted using your fingers no tools required. This allows for the repetitive drilling of the holes that all need to be the same depths. When accuracy matters this is a great machine.
For safety this drill press has a lockout safety switch to prevent accidental starting and with the lockout mechanism removed the drill cannot start until the mechanism is replaced. The Chuck key is spring-loaded so it can't be left in the chuck. The 11.5" x 16.5" cast-iron base allows it to fit on any workbench.
